2018 Future Talent Forum (FTF) is a platform to discuss the future business landscape by identifying the potential solutions and answers to the most burning questions about digital economy and the required skills and strategies to tackle the disruptions.
The One-Day Forum was held on the 2nd October 2018 at Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia.
I was invited by the organizer, Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM) to moderate a session on Riding the Wavelength – What Is The Future Of Work In The Banking And Financial Industry?
It was indeed a timely and interesting discussion. We discussed on how future work look like, the working environment, the expectation etc. We all agreed that some jobs will be no longer relevant but new ones will be created. Therefore, people in the financial services industry will have to continue to up-skill and re-skill themselves.
